Just want to welcome you to our WhatNext Family... I'm a ten year survivor of Stage IV Ovarian Cancer... 39 lb. tumor, and ovaries removed... I'd had a hysterectomy twenty years before that... but they left the ovaries.... The cancer had spread to my intestines and urethra.. My Gynecologic Oncologist Surgeon removed all the cancer he could see.... The PET CT scan revealed he'd removed all the cancer..... I just want you to know that we have more than a good chance of survival.... I had I/V Chemo and I/P Chemo... Six 28 day cycles of chemo... then after completing that....One invusion a month for another year. and here I am... I'm here if you need/want to talk, and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I know I was terrified at diagnosis.... I reached out my hand and asked God to lead me to where he wanted to be... I told him I was so very afraid. My fear left immediately, but the Lord has never let go. He's led me to here and now... ten years later... Three more grandchildren for a total of 20....four great grandchildren... and many many wonderful memories.... Hugging you tightly and smiling.... just one foot after the other and you'll never walk alone.

Great advice about hanging on to the Lord. I had 12 rounds of carbo/taxol chemo treatments a full year of chemo. It is now nearing the 2nd year following Chemo and I am still dealing with side effects - the neuropathy seemed to be the hardest for me to deal with. Everything I do involves my hands and they have been the hardest hit. The best they can offer me is to keep as you say putting one foot in front of the other hanging on to God's Promise.
