Procedure or Surgery (Full lymph node dissection): I liked to take walks before and I believe that had something to do w/how well I took the treatment. I noticed the weight seemed to be coming on and I could not lose it. Just thought it was from the mountain dew I drank and the sour gummy worms I ate. I figured there were worse things I could be doing to my body. I liked to spend my fair share of time in the tanning bed as well. I was on different medications from my head injury I received from a car wreck in '96, some which said the side effects were a weakened immune system, worked some crazy hours at work, so I figured my being tired all the time was normal. It wasn't til my aunt seen a mole on my back that I even had my doctor check it out. I had previously been keeping a food journal to show my dr how I ate and see if that had any effect on my energy. Of course, the mountain dew I drank was a big no, so that and the crazy work was what contributed to my energy level, or so I thought. Turns out there was more. I had stage III Melanoma!!

Lost my job because of this. Pointed out from having too many dr appointments. Well, my health was/is more important than a job, so I am happy that I continued my treatments and am now cured of melanoma, I will just have to find another job!!
