Wondering how you made out? I had ovaries and tubes removed 4 days ago and I am miserable with gas pain and being constiptated. Nothing seems to work? Please let me know.

Side Effects (Other): Had many side effects to the chemo, 2 drug combo (carbo and paclitaxel). Had allergic skin rsah, flushing of the face, many muscle aches and pains, constipation and tiredness. The pain and constipation are the worst parts as the others did go away within a day or so. The others lasted until today, total of like 5 days. Hope this will be the worst part of it and the rest of the treatments are better. Here's to hoping.

Decision Point: Results of the biopsy scans from the most recent surgery are awesome. Negative on all tissues and items removed. Problem is the tumor they removed in the March surgery ruptured during removal. That means to chemo or not to chemo, that is the decision. On the recommendation of my doctor and serious discussion with my husband I am deciding to do the chemo. I want to know I have done all I can to make sure this cancer doesn't come back at all. The only way to do that is to have the chemo and kill any cancer cells that might have decided to stick around that were not found during the surgery and scans since the tumor ruptured leaking back into my body. There is that slight chance that they are still there.
