I am 77. Similar diagnosis and treatment. After almost 3 years, my major side affect is fatigue. Keep a positive attitude, the best treatment there is.

I am 77, same diagnosis, 2+ years ago. Been through chemo. Hang in there and most important, keep a positive attitude. Best treatment there is.

Decision Point (Type of treatment/care.): Ended chemotherapy, entered Hospice care in August. Feel better physically and mentally except chemo brain. Fatigue and walking instability slowly increase. Will I beat it, XXX yes!

Side Effects (Chemo brain): I had 17 infusions of IV Abraxane and have had.chemo brain since. Sometimes more frequently than others. At first it was very annoying, but now I find it funny. Still annoying to my late wife, and my kids/caregivers though. Old buddy used to say "none of us are gonna get out of this alive, so enjoy every day."
