You certainly want to contact a Doctor. Also since you had thyroid cancer they should be checking your calcium so your calcium levels may be off. Ask your dr as soon as possible to get your calcium checked. My parathyroids were distrubed during tt and it can affect your calcium absorp and cause muscle cramps not just tingles in the face and hands.

So i just had an appt with my endo, and a surgeon and also had an ultrasnd done. The ultrasound showd two more lymph nodes on the rgt side right next to my artery. I am now on a dose of synthroid 275.the doctors are not going to do anything with me. They said its to risky. My tsh is non detectable in my blood work, my thyroglublin levels are at a good point. My doctor told me now im at risk for heart failure because of the medicine..any input?

I am on this same dose of levothyroxine. I have problems with pain from muscle cramps because of a hyper parathyroid issue I had a few years ago. The parathyroid was removed but I still have trouble with my calcium levels. It is something that can be an issue with anyone who has major neck surgery or treatment and can be hard to diagnose. Sschnore,
Hello, I an oncology nurse and you have the option of chemotherapy if you have already had surgery. The answer also depends on the type of radiation you have had already. If you have had external or brachytherapy, you might still be a candidate for iodine radiotherapy. However if all types of radiation are off the table, then there are some chemotherapies and biotherapies that might be effective for you. Best of luck to you, Carm RN. -
