Well, I am now playing the role of both caregiver and patient. I just cannot believe it some days. I was just diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma. I have a follow-up appointment next week for my second operation and will then be meeting with Oncology to determine the best treatment options. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated!

      Dear Starry1982,

I just want you to know that God loves you and if you allow, He will be holding your hand as you go through this experience. In Hebrews 13:5 He says " I will never leave you, nor forsake you". Hold on to this promise.
I can't say to you that my journey with BC has been easy but God has been awesome, embracing me in His love and care and opening the doors very fast when they need to be opened.
Hang in there, there's hope and there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
      God bless you!

Oh No (STROKE): May 6, 2014. Mom suffered a severed stroke - affected her right side, speech and swallowing. Mom was in the hospital for 9 days following stroke, then moved to an in-patient rehab facility for four weeks. Mom came home mid-June and has been having in-home therapy. Her cancer treatments are currently suspended.

I'm sorry that you had to have two surgeries back to back. How are you doing now?

Oh No (Initial diagnosis): Full Pathology came back from my surgery, and staining pathology showed that the tumor was actually malignant. Diagnosed Synovial Sarcoma - extremely rare.
