After 4 month of chemotherapy and a ct scan I was informed yesterday that I am in remission. The scan showed no cancer. I have never been happier and I want to thank everyone on this site that has helped me through. It. Positive thinking helped me as well. I hope many of you will have the same outcome.

Hi Terri! I read ur posting and it really touched me. Usually I have my friend with me but he was with my mom who had a doctors appointment today but my nurse always makes me feel good and we always chat. It will be a please to correspond with you.

I don't want to burden my family and friends always talking about cancer because I know some of them feel kind of uncomfortable talking about it. You can see it in their body language. So when I am with them we talk about other stuff and they see I am ok.

Terri I am glad you are in remission. That gives me hope. We can chat soon. I tried to email u but I don't know how to do it this site. So I will leave it here for you. [email redacted] and u can find me on Facebook under the same email.

Thank u for offering ur offer of support. I can tell u have a good heart. Hope to hear from u soon. Some of my spelling are from texting shortcuts. Lol. I love texting.

    Take care
    Steven

Hi! My name is Steven and I am currently on chemo treatment and tomorrow is my 6th treatment. I have been tolerating chemo well but after the last treatment my arm I guess got chemo burn and since that time I have been doubting everything and feeling down. I am usually a cheerful person but this cancer experience has changed my life. Do you have any advice on what got you the rough times? I really don't know anyone going through the same kind of cancer and sometime I feel alone. I know my family and friends have been great but even with support I just don't want to slip into the dark zone.

Side Effects (Hair loss (alopecia)): After my second treatment my hair starting falling out. So when I had patches of hair left I just shaved it off. I just wear a baseball cap to cover up when I go out in public and to get treatments. I don't wear it when I am t home. I have shaved it a couple of times already and it is starting to grow back even though I haven't finished treatment. I have 3 more chemo treatments to go so I am more than half way there
