Decision Point: Still in recovery from surgery. It is going well as I am in pretty good shape for my age. Seems as if I should be relieved as after a lot of blindsiding info along the way things are working out a lot better than expected. I can't seem to get over the fear of it coming back. I am seeking out ways to get over this fear. Hopefully connect with survivors who might provide guidance.

I had a similar experience in 2008 I had the same surgery at 44 years old. In 2011 I had a pain in my right side that after scans and byosis indicated the cancer spread to my liver. I was told only 3 percent of patients have a recurance in stage I thats why chemo is not recomended. Don't be afraid but be careful of any new disconfort take care of yourself and be very aware of how you feel.

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): Stage 2 colon cancer. Robotic surgery removing about 1 foot of my sigmoid and both overies/fallopian tubes.
