      In the meantime, I can share my family's experience with you. My father-in-law recently finished up treatment for nasal pharyngeal cancer. Because of the radiation he had a really hard time swallowing. Initially he drank Ensure and other protein drinks. He also tried baby food for some time and pureed foods. Eventually he had to use a feeding tube, something he was not excited about - at all. But it ended up being the best thing for him because he was at least getting the calories he needed to stay as healthy as possible. Just a couple of weeks ago he finally got it removed - for good.

      I am sure others would be happy to share their experience with you.
