I've read all of these comments and wanted to say thank you! I've been discussing this issue with my husband as to when to go off chemo, and talking about Hospice. I'm not at that point just yet, but it's getting close. Susan, God bless you and your daughter!

Thank you all for your kind and loving thoughts. I can't even imagine life without her. She is my best friend. She has fought so hard for the last 2 1/2 years and even knowing this was going to end at some point it feels so wrong. I will definitely need all of you through this journey.

Susan, my heart goes out to you..... truly. I cannot imagine your pain, and your desire to ask for suggestions in your upcoming care is wonderful. If you can let her guide you, I think that would be the key. Only she knows how she feels, whether she can tolerate activity, how she wants to handle this very important part of her life. Know that we are all thinking of you both, and hoping that everything will go as loving and as peacefully as possible. Bless you, and may the angels be with you both.

So sorry for you. Ten months ago I lost my mother and two weeks ago my brother (non of them had cancer), but I can't think of loosing one of my children. Be brave for her, love her, enjoy her.
Take care of yourself, you have to be strong to be able to help her. Ask for and accept help from family and friends, you will need them all..
You will be in my prayers.
      Blessings.
