I'm just getting started on this. We lost my mother to lung cancer in 2006. Chemo was pretty tough on her. My father was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) in 2006 but it was slow growing. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2010 and had radiation seeding that year which has lowered his PSA to practically zero. Unfortunately the CLL has become aggressive and the oncologist said he should begin chemo next month. He lives in Brady TX and will have to drive 75 miles one way to get the treatments. His oncologist stated he would take chemo 3 days in a row but he isn't sure for how long. He is on a fixed income and another friend told me about ACS and financial resources to help him through these treatments.

I am looking for any resources I can to help him through this. Financially and emotionally as well.
