It's a bit like having one senior moment after another after another! Can't quite concentrate, or can't quite remember things. or get distracted easily. Mine went on for months after Chemo but it did eventually ease up. i think it depends on your age and also energy level before chemo. I have friends who report that is never completely goes away but we all learn to adapt!.

Exercise helps as does good nutrition and keeping your brain active.
      This too shall pass :-)

I've got an article on my website about it: http://marnieclark.com/chemo-brain-is-the-real-deal-and-what-to-do-about-it/
      Hope that helps! Hugs.

Keep up the fight this holiday season. You will always have us here to chat with. I see we could be just minutes away from one another. My surgery took place @ BMH on October 15.

I am going to start Chemo soon, I was wondering if my eyebrow/lashes will fall out as well?

Lost my hair after the 2nd chemo. The rest of my body hair was gone after the 3rd. Last chemo was 11/26/12 and I have about 5 lashes & 10 eyebrow hairs remaining. Still waiting for regrowth to start. With my luck, it' 'll show up on my legs first :) . Best wishes to you during this crazy journey!

I didn't know until I went through chemo that we have 2 layers of eyelashes, I lost my longer layer, but kept the shorter layer, and my eyebrows thinned.

There are eye brow stencil kits. you can find one in the TLC catalog from the American cancer Society. www.tlcdirect.org. I can't give you the phone number on this site but through the tlc site you can order a catalog. I am sure there are other sources. False lashes were not recommended because of the glue

My plastic surgeon was through Penn Medicine. I can say that they were great during my time in the hospital (BMH). I will email you as soon as I hear from you. We have a 16 year old son. We read a book that Jefferson Home Health gave to us. He is doing well thus far. Glad to have met someone so close and know what I will be facing, next year (Jan.).
