I was NED after 4 rounds of r-epoch for stage IV lymphoma. My MD wanted to do two more rounds. I went for it. It was not a hard decision for me. That was three years ago. Best of luck to you.

Hi, Cisplantin probably spelled right is the last form of chemo they want me to try if my leiomyosarcoma of the uterus comes back for the 4th time. Why am I telling you this? I guess I'm wondering what kind of side effects you've had with it. I'm allergic to gmzar so I won't be getting anymore of that.
As far as would I go ahead with the treatment? Like others have said it really depends on the side effects you have had with it. Even if the side effects have been horrible I would probably ask if they can decrease the dose when/if you decide to continue treatment to make it more bearable... Congratulations on NED

I'm so sorry.
I saw eight oncologists before deciding on one.
But that was after a plethora of myopic doctors were unable to diagnose a tumor to which I was pointing. After I finally gained 65 pounds, growing the tumor along with the rest of me, so a surgeon finally agreed to cut it away but left the roots the dang thing had developed.
I'm still not sure I made the right decision. The radiologist was a liar.
But I am in So. Fla which is the land of incompetence. I hope you have better choices.
I do understand that your reproductive organs were removed. Were all signs of cancer removed with them?
It just seems to me that there ought to be a better way than being poisoned with great regularity. I hope, for your sake, that you are able to find that better way.
