The Marinol sounds like it would have helped me when I was so sick. I wish my doc would have prescribed this for me. And it comes in pill form, so it would be easy to take.

I have Marinol and take it sometimes for my appetite. I take a low dose because I don't want to zone out much.

My palliative doctor had me read a book called "Stoned" by David Casarett MD. I got a lot of vital information out of it about marijuana and how it works in the brain. It made me much more comfortable with taking Marinoll, and explained other options, like various marijuana products. It was also a fairly easy and entertaining read. I felt like I got more solid info out of that book than I have in various online groups.

I definitely recommend it! Good luck!

Hey it took over 28 years for me. But I'm in a survivorship program-I just had my face rearranged somewhat. It was a rare thing-I even sat 2 years-each semester-for a dermatologists. Each exam, they asked if anything bothered me. I pointed to that and I got a degrading lecture.
