Other Care (Palliative care, psychologist, medical marijuana, multiple surgeries and hospitalizations): My daughter fought for me as my advocate. She refused to just accept what one doctor said. I now have a team of doctors working for me and for my care. That support and reinforcement is crucial.

Decision Point (We actually fired my first OB/GYN oncologist. ): After being told I had 6-10 weeks to live, I was devastated. Get your affairs in order was what was said. He offered no alternative until my daughter elected to find someone that would.

Celebration (The thrill of still being here afyer being told initially there was no option....): My diagnosing doctor gave me no hope. So, I fired him and found this awesome young female oncologist that admitted at the onset I was very ill, but said she's try. And she has never given up on me.

The long term affects tangle from hair loss to muscle pain to nausea to neuropathy and tiredness.
