    Welcome.I am in the middle of treatment for invasive lobular carcinoma also. I just finished chemo and am getting ready to start radiation. Feel free to contact if you have any questions or just need to vent.

    Question: I will start radiation for breast cancer but I also have thyroid cancer. Will I have radiation for the thyroid cancer also.No one has said.

      That would be up to you and your radiation oncologist. You need to ask him/her.

      I've undergone internal radiation for thyroid cancer, but I'm no doctor. Like Nancy said, I would definately call and ask beforehand. Sometime your dr.s get so busy they forget to give you all the details & you're so nervous that you forget your questions!
      If I had to guess, you'll be getting chemo? In which case, that should be treat the thryoid cancer as well, since that's normally a final step in thyoid cancer treatment.

    Celebration (Finished treatment): I have finished chemo. I had my thyroid with 2 tumors removed on Sept. 5. 2012 and am recovering well.
