Good morning I had the autologous stem cell transplant I was isolated for a couple of days. Then my family came to see me they stays for long periods of time. Not overnight although they could have. My stay at hospital lasted 10 days. I was still to be isolated from children and animals because at that time a simple cold could have been deadly even after going home. Told to avoid crowds and places due to fact immune system had been weakened. I had my stem cell transplant in April 2009. I have been cancerfree since that time. The period of isolation and recovery process is worth the journey. In as much as you can being positive and having loved ones around to support you. Remember to stay in prayer.

That's awesome! I was happy to be able to get back to walking on beach I started off with one mile then more in time. I thought I would never wear pomps again. Now I rock them again.
