Just sending your family positive thoughts and prayers and that this next round of chemo will do the trick.
Thor shared an experience
Oh No (Cancer has spread/Metastasized): We thought my dad was clear for at least 6 months after his first round of chemo. But after a CT scan last week, one of his lymph nodes doubled in size and he has to go back to chemo.

I was diagnosed and treated for Thyroid cancer 3 years ago (thyroid removed and radioactive iodine). It was the first time the C word hit anyone in my immediate family...I'm fine...not very serious relatively speaking.
My fathers diagnosis and experience has been much more difficult (his is much more serious). I have a 3 year old son and I'm spending as much time with my father as possible, talking to him and being supportive but I'm taken aback by how much difficulty I am having with this (I hope that doesn't sound selfish...or narcissistic). I'm very close to my father and I guess I'm looking for ways to help me cope better with this so I can really be there for him.
I've never seen him depressed before and he is not much of a joiner when it comes to support groups. Me, I need one.
Thanks for listening.
