Radiation (Internal radiation): Radiation was a routine..every weekday for 28 sessions. The most pronounced side effect was the yawning sleepiness, unlike chemo which was just blissful sleep (when I was awake I wasn't tired).

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I opted for 6 rounds of TAC protocol once every 3 weeks. Longer time for recovery between doses. I worked full time and took off Thursdays for Chemo every third week. Mondays usually I didn't last all day but it got better everyday. I only had to take off one unplanned day off after the last round of chemo...that Monday after I was still just to out of it to drive. Side effects, sleep, memory issues, taste issues, digestive problems. Took Neulasta.
