My Diagnosis was Stage III Invasive Lobular Carcinoma with 8 positive lymph nodes. It is truly a shock to receive such news. It is a very dark time between diagnosis and the onset of treatment. Once treatment is started, the strength and positive attitude to wage war against this evil and elusive enemy is discovered. It is a difficult journey at times but doable -- in no time, the worst is behind and "survivor" is a title that is well earned!! I wish your mom the very best.

HI, if there is any way you can be with her, NOW is the time. Call her, listen to her, help her get on this site, be with her! Never is there a time in your life that you need someone by you than the time between dx, decision and surgery or other treatments. Plus make sure you get all the ways to make a decision, how can this be done? Ask questions! Make sure you review all her options! Prayers your way, Lynn
