Has anyone been declared in remission after 3 cycles of FCR for CLL with good long term results?

I was scheduled for 6 rounds of FCR in 2008. I received 3 rounds & my WBCs went very low & I had to postpone the next round. Was able to get the 4th round after Neupogen injections. I responded very well to the FCR & my Dr. decided that having the last 2 rounds would not be of benefit. I was never in actual remission but was declared to be in a good place & so far I have not needed any more chemo. I hope you get good news from your BMT. Keep us updated.

I just finished 5 rounds of FCR for CLL/SLL. After the 3rd round I was told my bone marrow was clear and my CLL was in remission. They continued more chemo, because there were still many enlarged lymph nodes hoping to get remission for the SLL too. After round 5 my blood counts dropped and I caught a stomach virus (I teach 1st grade) and ended up being hospitalized for a week! I had anther bone marrow biopsy and more scans and was told that the CLL is in remission and there is also "No evidence of lymphoma" anywhere.

My husband has been on the FCR since jan 2013, And not one side effect for all three rounds, We went today for round 4, And his WBC had dropped from normal to 3.0. So they said he had to postpone the treatment for a week and see what happens :( Still no side effects and he feels great
