thank you for your the message. this is the first time i have ever used a site like this and so far, it is people like you that i have met here that seems to be making this journey much easier to cope with. i wish you all the best in your treatments and i say that we should both beat this thing together and let it know that it has attacked the wrong bodies this time. keep me posted and keep up the good fight.

Sorry for the diagnoses. If you have questions or need advice, please post this in the questions tab, everyone on the site sees it there, not too many see the update posts.
Let me know if I can help.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): about to start my next session of chemo treatments. scheduled to reinstall the port in my chest for my upcoming treatments. hopefully this session will go as well as the first ones.

Oh No (Cancer is back/Recurred ): after some blood work for one of my follow up appointments, my doctor scheduled a full CT scan and bone scan. once those results came in, she scheduled me a full neck to pelvis PET scan. when those results came in, i was informed that my cancer has recurred in my chest and neck regions and they want me to go through another session of chemo treatments. OH NO!!!!!! not again.

Celebration (Finished treatment): after chemo, my doctor ran a PET scan of the pelvic region and she was happy to report that there was no more cancer present. the chemo had worked. woo hoo. i was so excited that i would be able to get back to a normal life once the effects wore off.
