Are you telling him you don't get it? He may not know you don't understand if you aren't communicating this to him.

Also, he may be positive because you are in a good place. Cancer does not have to be all doom and gloom. Are you too busy looking for the negative to see the positive?

It does seem that you may need to ask more questions. I would be happy to have him having a positive attitude. Mine have always had a positive attitude and the feeling that, this is nothing, we got this! A little gung ho even. I appreciate that, I don't want a bunch of Debbie Downers around me. Tell me like it is, but don't harp on it.

Now for more information, I ask until I get the info I need, one doctor I even got up and stood in front of the door so he couldn't get out, as he was trying to escape the exam room before I had answers. So don't be afraid to speak up and ask what you need until you understand. Wishing the best for you!

Keep a pad of paper handy somewhere at home and write down all the questions you have. No question is too small. Bring the paper to the doctors with you. My doctor would answer all my questions, no matter how long it took.
