Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): Eleven 21-day chemo cycles of gemcitabine and cisplatin. Twenty-five radiation sessions. Very few side effects but felt much better after it was over at the end of May 2011.

Procedure or Surgery (Surgery): First laparoscopic surgery to remove gallbladder and found it was cancerous. Then major surgery to remove rest of bile ducts, part of liver that touched GB, etc. Surgery went very well.

Then chemo and radiation to try to kill any other bad cells.

Now more cancer discovered in lymph nodes and liver. Most care will be palliative. I continue to feel very well. Don't know when that will change.
