Had auto transplant July 25th this year. Doing well so far as side effects. Will get bone biopsy 1st week of Nov. We will, of course then find out how successful the transplant was. Oncologist intimated I may be on Revlimid maintenance indefinitely. Was wondering if you have been on a maintenance program as well.

I had an auto stem cell transplant 1 year ago. I have been on revlamid and will be on revlamid indefinitely as long as it is working. I have also had kyphoplasty to stabilize my lower lumbar vertibrae because of compression fractures. My number are great. I have little side effects. I teach when I can (when I feel up to it) but yes, I have neuropathy, I have to use a walker to get around. I am in discomfort all the time but I am glad to be alive and willing to put up with whatever I have to so I can be a part of this world!

Yes, I had maintenance chemo for some years. Stopped in early 2011 for a Mini-allo SCT and have not been on any since then. Disease is stable!

Could not produce enough stems cells for a transplant. Anyone had this problem?

Thanks for your input. I got 3 days of neupogen with no stem cells produced and on the 4th day along with neupogen they gave me mobozil. Still no stem cells. I am scheduled to try again in another 7 weeks. I had radiation in Jan. and three rounds of revlimid. Was off of revlimid for 4-1/2 weeks. They thought that this might be inhibiting the stem cell production. Did you get the transplant using the 6mil?
