Procedure or Surgery (Implant chemotherapy port): Once I was diagnosed the next steps went very fast. My Doctors wanted to hit it hard and fast so.... In November I was in Surgery to have my Port installed as well as to have my Tumor and my Lymph Nods bio to determine what stage. Also In November I started my Radiation treatments Monday - Friday for 8 weeks at 40gs.. December 1 brought my first Chemo Treatment every Thursday for 11 weeks

Procedure or Surgery (Pneumonectomy): On March 20,2012 my Right Lung was removed at the University of Chicago Hospital.. Went into Hospital on Tuesday for Surgery and was home Friday night at 7:00pm.... Wow what a experience that was.. I'm happy to say that on June 4th 2012 I reported back to work....
