Procedure or Surgery (Bone marrow transplant for MDS): We have not experienced this yet. It's coming up soon. My husband is the patient, I am the care support, we are both very anxious about this procedure.

Decision Point ( Need to decide how to treat growing tumors.): Due to erratic chemo treatments, his tumors grew.Oncologist suggested consulting with Radiologist. Thought maybe one or two shots of radiation might shrink tumors. There are risks to this approach.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Chemotherapy): I disagree because one issue opened up to another. Many times he was refused chemo due to poor counts, so meds were given to ramp up counts. These were temporary fixes. Chemo schedule became erratic depending on counts. Very worrisome for us.

Drug or Chemo Therapy (Medicine for low white blood cell count): My husband actually had all of these treatments at different times. One thing would leave to another in terms of a health issue.
