Activities / Hobbies are important to take your mind off all the stuff going on. For me, it's woodworking, riding my bike, or music. Hope the chemo is smooth and easy!

Getting nervous about the chemo tomorrow. Spent a happy hour in the kitchen making vegetable soup. There's something soothing about chopping veggies.

My partner has recovered well from surgery and is feeling better each day. Yesterday was wonderful--a walk in our favorite nature area, her with her camera and me with my binoculars. Her first chemo is tomorrow. I'm feeling more nervous as the time goes by but so appreciating a day of "normal."

Procedure or Surgery (Debulking surgery): She lost 22 pounds and still doesn't have her appetite back. I worry that this will mean chemo will be so much harder for her.

Oh No (Diagnosed): My partner was diagnosed last month and will have her first chemo on Monday the 19th. I'm so worried about her being sick from it and how I can support her.
