It's been 7 years for me, and I feel the same way that you do. I don't think I will ever get over that feeling.

Hi Yosemitegal, I am a breast cancer survior of 3 years. I have lived with the fear of getting cancer due to the fact that my mom and her sister are breast cancer surviors. My fear came a reality and I know it gets much better but I do not think the feeling really goes away it is always on the back of your mind. Congratulations, try not to worry live each day as if it were your last one and celebrate life.
      Hugs, Tania from Miami, Florida.

Side Effects (Breast tenderness or growth): The affected breast has been sore to the touch since my radiation 14 yrs. ago. But it's no big deal, learned to deal with it.
