Celebration (Remission): Both treatments seem to have worked as there is no evidence of disease in my body or brain. In between all this, since genetic testing was done and I have the BRCA2 mutations putting me at a high risk for Breast an er, I decided to have a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction from my own body.

Side Effects (Seizures): From chemo I have numbness in my feet and toes as well as in my hands. I lost my hair but it grew back. I was exhausted. After radiation, the neuralgia increased and my memory decreased. I lost my hair and though it grew back a little, I am losing it again due to medications I have to take for seizures which were also a part of the side effects.
